Amcha For Tsedakah

Amcha for Tsedakah, Inc. is a nonprofit charitable organization incorporated on April 17, 1990 under the laws of the State of Maryland for the purpose of raising funds for beneficiary organizations whose full time work is to provide treatment for children with chronic physical and emotional illness, housing for the homeless, housing for the aged poor, shelter and counseling for battered women and abused children, group homes for abandoned children, non-interest loans to the poor to provide job training, transportation and household necessities.































































































































Also, fund programs dedicated to reducing racial and religious prejudice. The beneficiary organizations provide services to residents of the United States and Israel.

    I am trying to find shelter and social services help for my 77 year old sister who is a resident of pg county who has fallen on hard times from staying in housing that she couldnt afford. She was picked up in june and taken to a shelter in silver spring. They persuaded her to go to a shelter in dc and things have really gotten bad. She has an income she just needs help. Every time I went to md dept of aging before all this happened no one could help. Would appreciate any assistance possible in getting her back to shelter in pg and getting her social services help to get back on track.

She has some social security and a small pension but she needs help to find an affordable place to live. In june she was sent to a shelter in dc. How can she get back to the county.

    My neighbor is in need of immediate help. She has a restraining order on her boyfriend. He is very abusive towards her and the kids. He is an alcoholic. A few days ago he beat on her. She has a restraining order but he continues to come to the home. She wants to get away from him. Are you able to assist with temporary shelter/ housing. She has 1 daughter and two sons. All kids are middle school age.
