I have a 32 year old daughter who is homeless. She works a part-time job and for years has struggled to find a job that pays enough to house herself. For the last 8 months she has been with me as a care provider due to my Cancer, Stage 4 diagnosis. The doctor told me I would need someone to care for me during my chemotherapy treatments which is why I asked her to come with the agreement that when I felt strong enough to take care of my household responsibilities she would need to leave. I told her come April 2020 she would need to move. Well April is arriving in a few days and she still has failed to secure income to house herself and due to my health I haven't been able to work and I am now on Social Security Disability living off less than half of my income I made before being diagnosed. She needs not only somewhere to live until she can aquire income to house herself, she needs counseling to see what is hindering her mentally from being self- sufficient and self-supportive. I have tried to counsel her by talking to her about getting herself together mentally so she can come out of the depression she has that's hurting herself and me. I cannot afford to be under stress worrying about how I can pay my bills with an extra person here not helping me financially because they feel helpless.

I just moved from Illinois because I got kicked out. I am currently living with my baby’s father and for safety reasons I cannot live with him anymore. Is there anyway I can get help?

A friend of mine needs to leave her husband due to his abusive words and actions. She feels helpless because he is the sole provider and she stays home and takes care of her 1 and 1/2 year old baby. Shes afraid he will find them and that things will get even worse. What can she do in the position shes in?

I have a few bath towels that are in very good shape (rarely used) that I have no use for. Is this something you can use?
