Originally founded in 1986 as a crisis hotline, CODA recognized the need for expanded services.
CODA's mission is to prevent domestic violence through care and education of individuals and families of Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper counties in South Carolina.
All services are confidential and free of charge and are offered to those staying at the shelter and on an outreach basis.
“We will provide safety, hope and healing to survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault through evidence-based practices and lead in ending abuse through primary prevention and education. ”
Hello, I have been trying to contact someone about making donations, I called and left my # for the volunteer coordinator to contact me. That was a week ago and I have not had a follow up from anyone.
Hi, My father would come home drunk and beat my mom ( in front of my sister, brother and me when I was 8- 11 years old) How might I be able to donate to your wonderful organization? And, if you please, how much of your funds is dedicated to administration/overhead vs, directly benefitting the victims? Thank you, and keep up the good work!
I have a brand new pair of women’s 11 1/2 size walking shoes. They’re too big for me and I would like to donate them to the shelter.
