Doll's House Rehabilitation Center for Women is an organization that disciples women through the process of Deliverance, Healing, and Empowerment, along with life skill training.
It offers assistance to women in transitions in life, especially those who are homeless, as they move from dependency and abusive relationships into self-sufficient lifestyles.
Additionally, it assists residents in child reunification.
This is one of the state of Mississippi's only facilities catered specifically to women, with long-term transitional housing for 24 months.
On staff will be a chemical dependency counselor, as well as a reunification counselor, to assist residents.
The facility will provide residents with an 8 step program that teaches them necessary life skills.
This collaborative approach to empowerment is the keystone to developing self-sufficiency in the residents.
The 8 Steps Include:
Personal development Vocational trainingSubstance abuse counselingInterpersonal skillsPersonal and Spiritual DevelopmentBuilding community involvement Leisure activities Independent living skills
I need somewhere to go. I'm not homeless but I need to get away from this man. He threatens to kill me if I leave and I'm scared. I'm tired of taking care of him off my money and he does nothing but buy drugs with his money. Help please. He's broke my ribs in the past when I've tried to leave. I called the police but they did nothing.
Are the women that shelter at this facility, Doll's House required to pay any cost or fees? If they do.. what are they if any?
