Family Crisis Center of the Big Bend provides a 24-hour hot-line, Shelter, food, clothing, transportation, legal assistance, and referrals to other agencies, groups, individual counseling, G.E.D program, and rehabilitation.

24-Hour Hotline
Survivors, their friends, family and other concerned people can call their 24 hour hotline to talk, get information and resources, or to learn more about their services.
The hotline is anonymous and confidential.
You do not need to be in a crisis to call.
Many people call them just to talk or to find out information about their other services. 1-800-834-0654
24-Hour Emergency Shelter (Residential)
A confidential safe haven for adults and children; providing food, clothing & all necessities, pets may also be sheltered.
Advocacy
Advocates assist clients with assessing needs, setting goals, and connecting clients to resources.
Most commonly, advocates help clients meet basic needs for food and clothing, obtain affordable housing, financial assistance, transportation, and any other services that will help clients achieve self-determined independence.
Legal Advocacy
Legal Advocates are available to assist clients with obtaining legal representation, accompany them to court hearings, and provide information on the legal process.
Many clients need assistance with divorce, child support, protective orders, and more.
Counseling
Professional individual crisis counseling is available to clients at no cost.
Support Groups
Many survivors find it helpful to talk with other survivors who have had similar experiences.
FCCBB offers support groups for survivors based on need.
Community Education
Presenters and group facilitators are available upon request to any organization, business, agency, or group who would like to learn more about the dynamics and effects of domestic violence and sexual assault on the community.
Presentation content and activities are all culturally and age-appropriate.
Outreach Services
They also provide outreach services to surrounding communities, including Balmorhea, Marathon, Fort Davis, Marfa, Sanderson, Valentine, Candelaria and Fort Stockton.
Advocates may meet clients in these communities to provide services as needed.
