Women's Shelters

The Women Ministry at my church would love to donate gifts to women in your facility. Please provide guidelines and listing of items we are allowed to donate. Also, would we be allowed to tour your facility. Eva Davis

Good Morning, I have a top loader high efficiency washing machine that is in good condition but needs a couple of wires replaced which control the water flow into the drum. I wanted to donate it to a women's shelter in the hopes that someone might donate their time to make the repairs. I understand if you don't want it and I will donate it to Good Will who will make the repairs. I just wanted to try a women's shelter first.

I was wondering how your program works? And if you have any spaces available? I am needing some help with getting a job and shelter. My home life is not physical abuse but very emotional abuse. I have tried to discuss this with my fiance and all I get is putting me down and how much I mess things up in his life. This is not helping me to grow. I really don't know where to turn. In desperate need of transitional housing type ahelter for my 14 yr old son and myself. Im a domestic violence and sexual assault victim trying to move forward before i die .i Just want better for my child .we moved to crosby last week from one bad place to what has become the same. We are destitute and no car. Please i do not want to become aeperatwd from my son .i do bot ever want him to experience total homelessness without care and shelter.

I am seeking for help & don't know how to move forward. I have 3 minor kids (15, 11 & 2.5 yrs old). I've been in an abusive relationship for more than 10 yrs (emotional, verbal & mental abuse). My kids also suffered with the same abuse. And recently, there was an incident of physical harm contact. But since we have no other place to go, we remain in our house with him. Please guide me on what to do. We are living in fear due to his alcohol addiction. His behavior became worst whenever he has alcohol. Thank you

I lead a small group for highschool aged girls and have been looking for a women's shelter that we could be of help or service to. Wondering if I could have the guidelines fir donations and what are the most demanding needs. Also if we could make cards or something to put a smile on these women's faces.
