Hello i am a casworker for NYCR. I work in NY. Right now i have a client from DC who is 5 months pregnant and 25 years old. We will love to buy her a bus ticket back 2 DC but we do not want to send her back with no place to go. I googled resources for shelters in DC and found this and her baby father is locked up. Thanks

Hello, Thank you all for doing this critically important work. Our mother, "Mema" a retired art teacher, is now 86 and living in an assisted living home. She is still wildly creative and makes dolls, and animals out of both baby and adult socks. They are adorable, soft and just right for a young child in need of love. Mema makes these dolls every day, and wants to give them away to children in need of a smile and a hug from her babies. I am happy to send pictures and to deliver them to wherever you are. I am in the Bethesda, MD area. If interested I'd be happy to ship them also. Please send me an email so I can get these wonderful dolls to you. My best, Susan Young
