They believe in the right of all persons to live in a safe and nonthreatening environment.
The mission of the Network Against Domestic Abuse of North Central Connecticut is to reduce the incidence of domestic violence and to assist adult victims and their children to be free from this violence.
The services of the Network are free and available without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, marital status, physical disability, or sexual preference.
They operate a 15 bed confidential safe home in an undisclosed location for women and children who have been victims of domestic violence.
They make all efforts to be sure you and your family feel safe and secure, and offer free counseling services to you and your children.
“The Network assists families and individuals who have experienced domestic and intimate partner violence, educates to promote healthy relationships, and advocates for safer communities. With a strong and dedicated staff, we work together to achieve the mission of our agency while implementing and promoting client and child related programs. We continue to progress in schools, and update our curriculum to educate children in areas of bullying, self-esteem, healthy friendships, and teen dating violence. We strive to increase our educational efforts in our catchment area towns beyond Enfield and Suffield.”
