North Charleston Community Interfaith Shelter

They are a volunteer driven nonprofit that offers a variety of services for the local community.

They provide tutoring to students grades 1-12 with out fees.

Bi-monthly good neighbor free meals for the community around them.

Finally, they provide a rent-able space suitable for a multiplicity of events.

My mom is currently in a shelter. She has two months where she is currently at. She is on disability. She has no where to go when her two months is up. She just got out of an abusive relationship. I need to set her up in a place when her two months is up. Another shelter/low income housing that her disability check can pay for. Someone please help me point me in the right direction.

I am currently a single woman living on the streets, I have no friends and I've been shunned by family, am I eligible for this shelter or does it generally serve only single mothers? I do have children but they are in Social Services custody.
