Project DOVE (Domestic Violence Eliminated) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.
In 1981, a small group of concerned citizens and survivors of domestic violence created Project DOVE.
It began as a grassroots organizations staffed entirely by volunteers and has grown to include a shelter home and a paid staff of fifteen.
Their service area is a rural area composed of Malheur County, Oregon and Payette County, Idaho.
They serve a diverse population that is about 40% Hispanic.
