The Resource and Crisis Center of Galveston County provides a full service shelter for:































































MenWomenand familiesLegal assistanceTransportationand assistance obtaining basic necessities and household needsAdvocacy is provided for victims' children and assistance with job seeking and life skills training is provided.































































Support groups are offered for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors at various locations.

    Hi I am from Kansas City and wanting to make a move there I am currently in a abusive marriage and just wanting to leave the state and start my life over. Can you please give me some information on what I can do to start over? I have my own vehicle and clothes but that is all I would be coming with.     I have breast cancer and I'm starting treatment January 12th 2021. I was told to leave the house by my husband. I have no where to go. It's his deceased aunts home. My son is a Senior in High School. I need help out of this mentally and emotional abuse.
