The Retreat is a safe haven for families in crisis.
Since 1987, The Retreat has been providing domestic violence and sexual assault services and education to families, friends and neighbors on the East End of Long Island.
Professionals and trained volunteers give clients the opportunity to safely heal and reestablish their lives, free from violence.
Their services include a 24/7 domestic violence crisis hotline, individual and group counseling, legal advocacy, a residential shelter for adults and children, and violence prevention and education programs for children, teenagers and adults, taught in local schools and community-wide.
All services are free and confidential.
“The Retreat's mission is to provide safety, shelter, and support for victims of domestic abuse and to break the cycle of violence. ”
Hi! I was wondering if you might be in need of some womens career clothes? I have several professional work wear dresses, pants, tops and slacks. Not to mention like brand new heels. I would love to give them to someone who might be wanting to join the work force. Let me know. My email is above. Have a great day!
Hi I have looked on the site for the East Hampton Retreat and noticed that you are often looking for volunteers. I saw at one point that you where looking for someone to do arts and crafts with children and was wondering if that is something you still had a need for. I am an artist living year round in Sag Harbor and would be very interested in talking to someone about this. I have 6 grandchildren of my own so am very familiar with guiding children through art projects or simply having fun with crafts. Please contact me if this is something you are still looking for and perhaps I could meet with someone to discuss the idea further All the best Clare
I would love to volunteer because I work well with people and my Mother might be coming there into your home and program.
I love to crochet and make baby blankets but because I live in Florida we do not need blankets! Can I mail you baby blankets when I make them? They are 38" x 30"
I would love to help in any way We are collecting coats and warm clothing for women and children as well games and toiletries
