House is stopping violence and abuse in the family environment by providing safe shelter, support, advocacy, counseling and education. S.a.f.e. House was established in 1994 by a group of community leaders concerned about the needs of battered women and their children. Today, through safe shelter, support, advocacy, counseling and community education, the organization provides a comprehensive approach to working with families to Stop Abuse in the Family Environment.     I have a friend that lives in Henderson Nevada that has two small dogs and a bird and I know she would die before she would leave her animals but she's in an extremely abusive marriage and she doesn't know what to do. She has no money no finances to help her at all and she just feels trapped. However I know she will not leave her animals and I don't know how to help her. I live in Pennsylvania so there's nothing I can do and I live off of disability I have no money to help, is there any place that would take her and her animals and help her get out of this.

    I have lots and lots of gently used women's clothing that I would like to donate to the women of S.A.F.E house. As a survivor of domestic violence, I know how difficult it can be to only have one outfit because you literally ran without packing a thing. Some of us don't get the chance to take our precious belongings. How would I go about donating?
