Their facility has 60 permanent supportive housing units, all equipped with a kitchenette and personal bathroom.

Residents are referred by homeless shelters through the Cuyahoga County Central Intake process.

Front Steps housing program adheres to the Housing First philosophy, which believes that the primary need of homeless individuals is to obtain stable housing.

With the stress of securing housing alleviated, residents are able to focus on bettering themselves mentally, physically and emotionally to obtain their highest level of self-sufficiency.

I have recently been asked to leave my current address, because I can not pay the 625 monthly rent. this is the result of having a current garnishment from previous eviction and landlord that leaves me with half of my normal income. I am removing myself from an abusive situation, which is leaving me homeless. I also have limited income on SSDI and ability to work. I am receiving assistance for therapy, appropriate possible part-time work from Recovery Resources. They are trying to get me a case worker but there is currently a long wait. I'm trying to figure out as quickly as possible how I can get into some housing meant to help battered women get back on their feet again. This looks like an option. Can you please advise on what steps I should take or point me elsewhere if necessary. Thank you so very much

Hi, is there still room available, I'm looking for a family transitional housing shelter for me and my three daughters . I work Monday through Friday and every other weekend . But however I'm not receiving any child support or extra money plus I don't make enough to continue to pay for rent. I was giving a certain time frame to leave the premises.
