Women's Shelters

The YWCA of Central Virginia provides two emergency domestic violence shelters located at confidential locations in Lynchburg and Altavista, Virginia.































































































































These shelters have a 24-hour hotline, 888-528-1041.































































































































Services are offered free of charge to domestic violence victims.































































































































The YWCA also operates transitional housing for homeless women.































































































































This program, and the women's residence program are located in the YWCA Town Center.
